Gidel unveils its HawkEye family of cost-effective, high-performance Arria 10 FPGA accelerator boards

Frankfurt – June 20, 2016 – Gidel, a technology leader in high-performance accelerators utilizing FPGAs, unveils its new line of low-profile PCIex8 HawkEye family based on Altera’s (now part of Intel) Arria 10 FPGAs. The HawkEye family joins the Gidel Proc10A high-performance accelerators offering a full range of Arria 10 capabilities enabling tailored optimization to budget and performance needs.

The HawkEye presents an unprecedented cost-performance solution providing high-end FPGA capabilities previously considered beyond the budget of many applications. The PCIe/stand-alone HawkEye family opens the way for acceleration of diverse applications that can immensely benefit from the Arria 10’s powerful capabilities.

To optimize the development process Gidel offers two development methodologies:

  • OpenCL based on Altera SDK
  • Gidel Proc Developer’s kit enabling:
    • Acceleration of multi-applications/process simultaneously
    • Unmatched HDL design productivity
